The Deep Diver specialty course provides you with the knowledge and skills to plan and conduct deep recreational dives while minimizing risks. Deep dives are between 60 and 130 ft. and do not require any decompression stops.
Areas of instruction include dive planning, equipment and techniques, gas management, problem solving, emergency procedures, and simulated decompression stops.
Requirements for this course include Advanced Open Water Scuba Diver certification or equivalent. As a certified diver, it is expected that you will furnish and be responsible for the care and maintenance of your own diving equipment. We will assist you in checking that all your gear is adequate and in proper working order.
Practical training will include at least 2 open water dives at depths between 60 and 130 feet.
